Let's help those who are coming to PIR by themselves find each other so that no one is traveling alone from the airport to Great Lakes.

Thanks tallmama. I was just telling my son Fiance the same thing. I thought that you guys got your calls pretty late yesterday. We are still waiting.......... I just checked out the weather report for Great Lakes. Thursday party cloudy 70ish. Friday and Saturday possible thunderstorms and 70ish. Sunday looks like party sunny and 70's. Not too hot... Let's pray for no thunderstorms. I am sure that they can get nasty that close to the water.

I'm in California waiting for call from my daughter in Div 203. Don't want to miss her call so got someone else to fill in for me at our work meeting (as can't carry the phone in there with me)! I'm excited to hear.

JGoody - Wow, I really have lost my mind - RTC, of course!

Did anyone have withdrawals when this site was unavailable for a while today? That's the first sign that you have an addiction to N4M. Sorry, there's no known cure.

I"m SOOO excited! Can you believe it 2 days from now we will be with our sailors. Feels like its beens o long but yet so short. Ahhh! I need to get all my stuff done. I'm kinda stalling and stalking the website LOL I hope all of you get your calls soon!

Janis, you already got your call this morning or were you yesterday?

For all of those folks who are waiting for your calls, I didn't receive mine yesterday until 2:30 California time. It is now 11:42 here, so you probably have a few more hours. I know that doesn't help the nerves much! Keep the faith. I'm sure all of your recruits are now SAILORS! I will keep you in my thoughts.

RTC is Recruit Training Command, where our recruits have been living all these many, many weeks. And where we will be Friday a.m for PIR!

I can't concentrate at work today! I can't believe I will be on a flight tomorrow to Chicago!!!! Can't wait to meet all of you.

Did I read that RTC's read what we post on this site??? Hope they saw how grateful we are that they turned out recruits into real Sailors!!! I know what an RDC is, but what's a RTC?

Enjoy your new Sailor calls today ladies!!!! Praying for all of you.

this is getting exciting, everyone getting ready to go!! I'm at work all day today & half the day tomorrow & I'm not concentrating well at all.
RobsMom, I was told that the G&Gs will leave from RTC around 2 or 3 a.m. And they should know by the time we get there what time their actual flight is. Where is Rob going from GL?
