I got the call! Yippee. She's a sailor now. She sounded happy but exhausted. I am to bring something comfortable for her to lounge in when she gets to the hotel and she wants a big hug. Gosh, ain't life grand! Now I can take my phone out of bra and get to work! Thanks for all of your encouraging words, everyone. You'll be getting your calls soon. She said they didn't get out of BS-21 until like 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. this morning and then they had to clean up, etc., so everyone who is waiting, be patient!

LOL. You guys are crazy. I was telling people at work today that I found a bunch of women that are as insane as I am. They were impressed. You all have been very busy too I might add. I had to scroll back 9 pages to get caught up, which I did. Very entertaining.

I see that I really started something admitting to my stalker status. I guess the answer is that I shouldn't be concerned about it since I am in such good company....

Janis - I have a 25 year old pet/house sitter and I am very concerned. It is my daughter. She informed me that she was having people over. It will be like a college party, but with better wine:)- Her and her Fiance are wino's. Anyway, I am kidding she is a really good girl and I love her friends too. Actually I am cleaning and making then special food, see I really am insane.

Sobe, I love the recap, nice job. I had so much fun reading the 9 pages of posts. I went to work today and worked my butt off since I was only there one day this week. It was totally worth it.

My son has BS-21 tonight but I won't get the call. He will call his fiance, NavyFiance" who is also in this group, who I am proud to call my future daughter in law. She will give me play by play. I am really OK with that because I know how happy it makes him to talk to her instead.

I am a last minute packer too. Although, I do have a list and a pile of stuff that I have been putting on the dining room table.

OK. enough babble - Good Luck to all the BS recruits tonight!

Welcome Robs mom.

Sobe...thanks, that's a lot of stuff that I missed. It's so much like my life, all the good stuff happens when I'm away. Well, wait a minute, at work big stuff always happens when I leave, people give notice, squabbles break out. I will be leaving early tomorrow morning for Chicago and who knows what might happen. I can't wait to meet you all and to see my son. I think he is really proud of himself. I'm thinking good thoughts for the rest of you! Battlestations will be won and phone calls will happen. What to wear hmmmmmm before reading this I took out all my clothes worthy of such an event and they are all over my bed and most are either black and white but I was looking to go the red, white and blue route. So now I can see we all think alike.
