My boyfriend is in this division. We only have 3 weeks left! =]
My boyfriend is in ship 3 and division 230 as well. He left home (Miami) on 6/6/10. I miss him like crazy. I have been with him for four years now and we live together so the physical separation has been a difficult adjustment. Is it true that this division is a grad-n-go?
yay i cant wait!!! what rating is your boyfriend? Mine is an AD, Airplane mechanic pretty much, he says he loves the div and that they are all really nice and the best marchers!!!
My boyfriend initially was going to do Damage Control, but now he's going to be a Machinist Mate (whatever that is) lol.
last time I talked to my boyfriend he doesn't think that he is.. But I think it has nothing to do with the division but more individual person.. Cuz Brandon is a Nuke and I don't think he is.. And doesn't seem to think so either.. I guess it depends on the job..
...hhmm. My brother enlisted 10 years ago and after boot camp he got a two week vacation before he went to A- SCHOOL. Do you think they still give out a 2 week recess period? He called me on May 28th and he said he would call me the following Saturday (6/4/10), but I got a letter from him yesterday saying that he lost my number. I could kill him lol, but I sent him my number rush delivery yesterday. He did excellent on his test so he was told that he would be granted an additional call, so just so you know if your bf scores high or impresses higher-up (somehow) they are granted more phone time or more calls. When my brother was in the navy they did not have phone privileges. I am glad things have changed.
Oh gosh.. I hope he gets more calls!! And man that sucks that he didn't have your number.. My man remembered mine.. which is surprising.. I hope he calls me but he might call his mom.. Hmmm I think it would be nice to have a call though.. I hope my man did well.. He is a smarty so I bet he did.. And about the vacation, I have no idea. It would be nice to have him home for awhile, but once again I think it depends on the job. If there isn't a full class then he won't need to be there asap..
We always quick-dialed each other, so I don't know his number either by heart lol
How many calls have you gotten so far?
Same here.. I honestly was shocked that he did memorize it cuz it was always press Send again.. haha..
I have only gotten 1 call that was 30 min long..
you?
I got 1 call it was like 3 minutes. That 30 minute call was supossed to be done last saturday, but like I said he forgot my number. They dont have so many belongings with them I dont understand how he can lose a piece of paper. I'm hoping tomorrow we here from them. How love have you been with your man?
Aww man that sucks.. and yeah I don't understand that either.. But things get lost when they get super stressed and yelled at.. The sad thing is I haven't been with him too too long.. When he left we were together for 7 months.. 8 months now.. So I don't know if it sucks more having not a lot of time together or less cuz we had a short time together.. Either way it sucks..
I'm glad you understood my question I just noticed I wrote love instead of long lol.
I could tell you're in love with him so if you're together for 7 months or seven years you will miss greatly. I only suggest you live together before you get married. These guys are lonely and miss their other halves' companionship, so they might return uber luvy duvy and might surprise you with a proposal. An "I DO" should not be said because you miss each other's company and you are fond of each other (these things help of course) the decision should be more rational and enhanced by the emotions. It should not be based on emotions. All I am saying is to wait. I am telling you this because I have witnessed MANY commit that mistake to only end up divorced.
