Freedom's Colors

Red is for
Bravery;
blood shed in sacrifice.
Freedom came with lives the price.

White is for Liberty;
freedom's purity.
Life be free from God's decree.

 

Blue is for Justice;
as vast as the sky.

Happy Memorial Day everyone, God Bless all our military past, present, and future, especially our Sailors who are so dear to our hearts and God bless their families who wait for a call, letter or homecoming. I hope you all get a wonderful letter or call home this week :-)

Good evening all. I finally returned from my Madrid trip and heard that my son called yeasterday. I knew I would miss his call. I heard he made an official business call earlier in the week to ask me a question but since I wasn't here he had to hang up. I'm aware that he gets to make offical business calls because his chosen field requires a background investigation and he needs to provide information about pretty much his entire life and associations. Hope to hear from him this week and if not the weekend.

     I read through at least 18 pages on here to catch up and it was wonderfull reading all the posts. The support here is great and the count down clock is fabulous. Oh, and thanks Joel's rackie for the quotes etc... :)

Are you watching the National Memorial Day Concert on the PBS channel?  So neat to hear the tributes...and the music....makes you so proud of our country and our military!
