NavyMomo, Thank you so much for the address!!! I am so excited...now I can write my son. He will be so excited too!! I am so glad to be moving into these new groups too. Just the formation of these groups makes me feel like the PIR is that much closer.
NYRican- thanks for adding Rackie & myself as extra administrators. I hope I'm up to the job...not the most computer savvy, but I'm sure between Joel's Rackie & myself we'll figure it out. We'll try to keep it (afloat) while you're gone :-) Hopefully you can virtually visit us periodically on your trip!
Good! I'm thinking that RTC will be posting your PIR group tomorrow on its grad schedule with all of the divisions in it. Either Rackie or SailorMom can add those to the end of the title of this group. I will post on here when I see that it is added to RTC's grad schedule.
Thanks navymomma for posting the link for the ship addresses. This is great especially when you get word of your SR's ship number but don't have an address and want to get a head start in mailing letters out. Cool.
Also, since I will be out of country for the next week I have added Rackie and I believe SailorMom Lisa as administrator so that they can keep the page current and can edit pictures etc... I'll be back Saturday but I don't expect to get a call from my recruit since he may use that call to contact his dad. Well, in case I don't get to get on line this week have yourselves a smooth week and hopefully letters will be lobbied back and forth, YEH!
Prayers for your Jay, NYRican!
SailiormomLisa- You can find the address for ship 12 on the website

I am so excited to move from a "dep" group to a" leavin in"... group to a" boot camp" mom and finally to this group. Looking forward to meeting you all!
Yay! Thanks NYRican924 for starting this group! I got the phone call this morning too...woo hoo!!!! I got the call on my cell phone..it said Illinois and I about went through the roof. My son sounded great, well pretty good any way. He said he had sent me a letter, which I haven't rec'd yet. Still don't have the address, but he did tell me that his PIR is also 7-8. Also said he is in Ship 12 Div 224. Sounds like our boys are together, yay! Is there a group yet for that Ship and group? I've been gone all day and just now looking for it??
NYRican924 - I'll be praying for your son. Have a safe trip.
