The best thing for getting stains off the Dress Whites is Shout Wipes. They can be very hard to find but they sell them at the Nex so grab a few packs while you are there. And be careful when you hug your sailor too, makeup easily ends up on the uniform no matter how hard you try bot to get it there.

Good girl, chicinge!  HA!  Yes, ladies, the towel she is speaking of is a small one for your sailor in his/her beautiful Dress Whites to sit on so as not to get anything on them.  I think I would have a couple of towels available!  If there are small children in your group, please be careful!  Those little hands are adorable, but can be "Dress Whites unfriendly!"

....I meant: ....threatened with retention on RTC if they violate any rules.

They are well aware of these rules, believe me.  Being late back to base after liberty is their biggest fear!  HUGE consequences, not only for them, but for their division.  SO please allow plenty of time and remember...they have to walk a ways to their ships once you drop them off.  My son wanted to be dropped off 45 minutes before his liberty was up.

Thank you all, I am a dork, just looked at the form letter. I guess I am packing and in too big of a hurry! Calm down and breathe! Lol

You all remember....civilian clothes can be worn IN YOUR HOTEL ROOM ONLY.  They are being watched and have been threatened with retention on RTC if they violate them.  But in the room is fine.  If they swim at the hotel, they need to be sure to bring their Navy-issued swim suit.

Karleen:  No, he cannot change into his "peanut butters" until the next day.  On PIR day, he is supposed to be in dress whites.

No, there will be no more graduation info coming to you.  All that is left is downloading the gate pass if you haven't already done that.

Peggy:  I'm not sure of the pickup times when they are there through the weekend.  Will he be on RTC, or is he moving over to GL A School base?  If he moves over to GL base, he will be under their rules. Either way, he will know on PIR day when he can be picked up the next day.  I have heard 7 am, I have heard 8 am.
