They are allowed a plain black small duffle bag also.  My son took one with no problems.  Actually his was Navy...it can be Black or Navy, as long as solid.

Diannep-veteran, our SR is not "grad & go," so we hope to have the entire weekend with him.  Do you know what time we could pick him up on Saturday and Sunday mornings?

My son wants me to bring his backpack with his lap top and cell phone and a few other items to the airport when he leaves Sat. morning. Is he allowed to take those to "A" school with him?

My daughter has liberty and goes to A school at Great Lakes. Should I bring her any civilian clothes at all? I know a few things to wear around the hotel room but can she take any to A school? She said bring laptop and cell phone.

My son called again today! Its the third call I've gotten since battle stations. He said since they pass they are getting more privileges. Today he said I am suppose to get a letter that has graduation stuff in it and a parking pass. But I thought we just printed that pass off from the RTC website. Any ideas on that? He also said after graduation they have to change out of thier dress whites to the tan uniform. I was looking forward to walking around town with him in his dress whites.
