I cant find this Fit program but im not in the best frame of mind right now, he just said im not graduating, dont come ,im not even clear on it all, not sure i can even talk to another group now feeling this way,but that is selfish of me when they are the ones going thru all this. No diannep we rented a car and were leaving monday to take our time ,everything was packed. Im not even sure if he used the word asmod at this point.
J'sMom; You are right...they have them make that call to "motivate" them. They are told things like: So now you can't see your family and you have ruined their travel plans to come see you, etc....then they tell them if they want to see them, they will have to get this done NOW! Most of them do....in time for PIR. Those who don't make it in time for PIR are allowed to stay on in FIT and try for a couple of weeks after PIR. They then do Battlestations with the next group going and head straight to A School.
Hoping that navyrocks SR gets it done next week!
Hello All! I have been online all day and gone thru all the ups and down with those who have posted and shared. This site has been a blessing for me!
navyrocks- your post took my breath away- I will keep you in my prayers-
I too have a SR who has not passed PFA run- the "no news is good news" is still a painful road.
Will try to hang on for some hope Diannep ,yes tomorrow i planned on cancelling all the reservations. His voice was strong but worried ,sad for me i know he doesnt like to put xtra worry( going thru BCx treatment) I dont know how we could get there driving from east coast florida if he made it thru BS ,But will hang in there. Thankyou for helping me.
navyrocks. I'm so sorry. Ok, deep breath. Here is what happens:
He will get more chances to pass that run. Not sure if it will happen over the long weekend or on Tues. This PIR group is doing BattleStations through Wed night. Not sure yet if the 7/15 group will start theirs on Thurs, but if so, then your SR will have up until Thurs to pass his run and do Battlestaiotns that night...at PIR--- in the balcony, in uniform,t too tired to march after being up all night.
They make them call like that to motivate them, believe it or not. They don't allow them to say much. Sadly, many families cancel their travel plans after that call, not realizing that there is still a chance their SR could be at PIR. Happened to a lady who had to cancel her reservations by Wed to get some money back; her son passed the PFA on Thurs, did BattleStations that night with the next PIR group, and was at PIR. They weren't. Very sad....So...hang in there....lots of prayers for him.
Please join the FIT PROGRAM group on here as the ladies on there can help you. There are some on there who have been through it. FIT works with them to get them to pass if all possible.
Prayers....
Got disheartening call 730pm EST , scripted call less then one minute, mom
dont leave to come for grad i didnt pass test, Mom i cant talk dont do anything till i call again. Needless to say I am heartbroken! I was in shock and he was not allowed to talk, I could ask him nothing. He is such a good kid, grades temperment, intelligent, honest. Just not a runner. It was all i could do to not fall apart and barely could get in i love you and were proud of you no matter what

Much luck ladies to you and all your kids/sailors.
chicinge: That is WONDERFUL NEWS! So glad for him and you all! Beleive me, he will make it through BattleStations because he has that adrenaline going now!
