just got 2 letters dated jun 23 &26 first one upbeat but then the june 26 he expresss concern for passing the pfa/running. Takes final pfa on 29, tells us maybe we shouldnt leave in case he doesnt make PIR, UGH! I need a veteran big time right now? If he didnt pass his final pfa and the other inspections and biggest test that was also happening , do you think we would have gotten a call home about being set back?
Also says they will nt receive mail few days prior to grad and cant get any out in time either to update us
They do NOT have lockers for rent anymore. It was a private business that ended.
Sorry :-(
Got my PIR Ribbons!!! Lala PIR Ribbon Queen, they are simply gorgeous!!! I will be honored to wear them!!!! :)
Letters and ribbons in one day when there has been nothing for so long! God is so good! He mercies never end!
Backpacks - It was explained to us that IF we can meet up with our Sailor at the airport before he flies out, we will be able to hand him an ALL BLACK backpack with two straps. In it, we are putting some clothes, boxers, his cell phone & charger, check book, laptop and some tennis shoes/flipflops depending on what all fits. :) If they stay at GL, you may be able to rent a locker off base that they can access once they have permission to bring those items to their A-school. If this is wrong, I'm sure the veterans will correct me.
sorry, originally I was inquiring about the ribbons, is it too late to order them. Also, what is the backpack thing about and where is the place to look @ NEX items?
