Z'sSweetie:  The calls usually come in starting around 2 pm GL time...can come a few minutes before and go for a while afterwards.  Will you be in the air in the afternoon?  If so, change your cell voicemail to greet your new sailor and ask that he calls back many times to leave many messages so you can hear how he is!  Hoping you don't miss the call!

Willsmom:  The first group goes through tomorrow night.  I have it down as 219-222 from what you all have said.  So those are the divisoins who would call on Friday after BattleStations (finishes Fri morning---calls come in the afternoon around 2 pm GL time).

diannep-veteran-Some of us will be getting the "I'm a Sailor" call on Friday?  Wow, I thought it didn't come until after battle stations?  Will definately keep my phone handy!

I can't believe how fast the time has gone by, I thought it would drag on forever but seems like just yesterday when my son left!  I'm so excited to see him next week!

luvmyboy-

I just asked the same thing in the discussion group for 12/226. I haven't heard from my son since the 18th... and I missed that phone call. I feel better knowing it's just not me/him though. I guess they are too busy to write/call?
