So I'm freaking out, yesterday my husband sent me a letter telling me that he still hasn't passed a running test and that suddenly he's over his allowed body fat percentage! I know they have one final chance to pass the running test, but what if he doesn't loose weight and is over in body fat? Please send up some prayers for my sailor and our family! It would be much appreciated!

J'sMom:  The shuttle just is a bit more convenient because it bypasses the line of cars.  Many who drive say that was ok too.  Just means that you may be in a car line for a while.  Not the case with the shuttle.  Will you all be taking 2 cars if you drive or do you have a large van with all in it?  If the van, you may want to drive.  But if you are in 2 cars anyway, you may want to do the shuttle even though you would need to divide up.  The walk from where the shuttle drops you off is about 1/4 to 1/2 mile....parking lot may be a little closer, not quite sure.

There is no parking fee that I'm aware of.  You should have the gate pass anyway---even if taking the shuttle (it will be ready to downloard from RTC page on Monday)...because you will need this when you return your sailor to base if you drive onto the base.  For the shuttles, you don't need the pass...but I kept one in my purse anyway!

WillsMom:  She sends them priority mail so there should be no problem in you receiving them on time!
