OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Navywife: that could be true, it just bothers me though, I checked our bank account and me managed to spend money today, around the same time people were getting phone calls.. idk /: I'm sure he'll get a call soon.

I didn't get a phone call... I'm hoping everythings okay with my husband. I'm pretty upset that 220 got calls but I didn't.

navyrocks:  Since that Mon is July 4th, 223 may not do BattleStations until Tues/Wed.  Possibly even Wed/Thurs.  I'm thinking that this PIR group will have BattleStations over 3 nights, starting with Thurs the week before.  They can go 4 divisions a night.  But they don't do them on Fri and Sat nights....and although they can do them Sun nights normally, they won't with the holiday on Mon.  So looks like you will be in transit for the I'm a Sailor call.
