I got a letter from my husband today! He told me they went to the shooting range last week and he score 212, meaning that he is a sharpshooter! I am so proud of him! He said he was awarded a ribbon and everything :] I just had to share!

Lala....I also am looking forward to seeing what the ribbons look like "in person"!!!

When do you think they will get here?  :)

Yeah these pages are the happening place lol, when my sailor was in DIV 936 last summer I only met 2 other moms for that DIV. That seemed like a very low number to me. I was very glad to have all the info provided on the main PIR group pages. I am still in contact with several of the moms in our group :-).

diannep and ftlw-  I would NEVER leave this group or encourage anyone to do so!-  there is such great info here.  Sometimes, it is just fun to link up w your own div. THIS IS WHERE THE MAIN INFO IS!! I just posted that because we only have a few members and know there may be others out there looking for us.  But we should all stay here!!

I totally agree with what FTLW says below.  Use your group to chat if you like...but please stay on this main page.  We veterans only post info here...we don't have time to cover the discussion groups or individual division groups off of this page.  We are active on all of the current PIR groups (usually about 6 at a time)...so no time for others. So please be sure to check in here often!

Ladies,

I am in NO way trying to be a killjoy here...just trying to help out...

You are certainly more than welcome, allowed too, etc start your own groups for your SHIP/DIV,

however,

your main PIR group is going to become VERY active, especially the last two to three weeks. You can miss one day and come back to 10 pages!

So, that is why we suggest "connecting up" with your individual SHIP/DIV in the Discussion area up above.

Also, as you near PIR you will probably be going to the "PIR Reference Informeation" group and then starting to look at "A" school moms and then the individual "A" school that your Sailor will be going too.

Starting to see the picture...?

It makes hopping around a bit less.

Hope that helps.
