OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I have a question concerning PIR for past grad moms -  If you aren't on the list is there is a chance to get into PIR?  My son didn't put his gf down for PIR, I didn't know if there was an overflow point? I know it was probably posted earlier, but I am now lost at what to tell her.  Does anyone know?  Thanks & GO NAVY!!!!
