Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey ladies!! Im in Great Lakes, and couldnt be more excited about seeing my husband tomorrow!! I have a question though.. are any of you staying on base at the Navy Gateway Inn or happen to have a military ID and a car?? I didnt realize that graduation was so far away from the hotel, I have no car, and Im all alone... If anyone would be willing to give me a ride to PIR tomorrow that would be awesome!! Finally arrived at the Ramada now just waiting for a phone call. Anyone  heard from 226 yet?? Gonna go to Saddle Ridge and get a bite to eat and a DRINK!!1

Wow, lots of PIR attendees checking in to the lodge. I spoke to some and they had not heard of N4M and not aware of Meet and Greet. Got my Sailor mom tees from NEX and ready to hopefully attend the M&G, lol.

Can't wait for my call today!!!  Thanks so much for all the suggestions and comments.  I didn't find this site as early as most of you but since finding it all of you have been such a comfort and blessing to this excited and nervous mom.  My kids just give me that look when I head to the computer.  We are at Waukegan and anxiously waiting!!!!!

I am so excited!!! Tomorrow is PIR! I got the sailor call yesterday. I have no easy access in a computer this time. My in-laws are here in Chicago as well!!! I couldn't contain the excitement and joy I am feeling right now! Thank you Lord Jesus for answering our prayers! To the rest of our group who is still having the BS21.. Hang in there.. You'll get the call soon!! See you in meet and greet, if not.. tomorrow in PIR!!!
