Good morning, TGIF!
Thanks for all the updates, AZOKmom, Tee, Kim, and Carolyn.
I hope you all have a nice weekend.
That's great to hear Carolyn! I'm on here all the time (the site anyway). Blake is in Aircrew stationed in Jacksonville FL. He flies on the P-8 Poisedon. He's getting married this summer and also reenlisted for 6 more years.
HI KIM, it's good to hear from you! So good to hear your sailor is doing well and congratulations on being a grandma! Mine is Aircrew now and he is happy. Other than having him stationed at home, a mother can't ask for much more!
Hi Vicky, it's good to hear that Crissy is doiing great things in her Navy career! Out kids seem to be in the same track. Blake also reenlisted early but for 6 more. He still isn't saying it'll be a career but with getting married it's a done deal fur 6 more at least.
I think I'll send a group message close to when our kids when to BC and see if anyone come on to update. I'd love know how they're all doing. I think mine left on the 23rd.
Yes, Tee, we old hands at this Navy Mom thing now. I still come on here to update my friends on Chrissy's career and help the new Moms. She is doing very well, she is on her summer leave this week, I saw her yesterday. She got promoted to FC2 last month and is missing her frocking ceremony this week, but will get the pin when she goes back, She reenlisted early, for two more years so will be in the Navy until 2017. She is thriving in Navy and it was a good choice for her.
How is eveyone's else's kids doing?
Gee, I didn't know anyone was posting here I would have kept up. It's been almost FOUR years since we were all joining this group and checking it every few hours! (at least I was!)
Thank you. she is at her Dad's house. I have to wait my turn till she comes here.
Chrissy is back home from her 1st deployment. It was a long 7 months.
Congrats to you Kim, being a grandparent is the best thing in the world. I am going to see my grandson on Saturday.
