Congrats to mom of cjj and Ellen on your good news! ENJOY!!

Some of us just aren't up on all the latest computer stuf. I'm the one who asked for the lesson on glitter graphics and could only do it with step by step instructions! I do enjoy other people's creativity. I hope everyone has a good night.

Just stopping by to say 'hi.' I don't have anything to report about 'B' except that I havenn't heard anything. I've been keping busy with work, family, etc. and trying to get used to my sailor being gone. I guess I'll hear from him when he has something to report. I hope you all havee a great day,
Tee

Ellen, I think I hear from you what I'm feeling. After BC we thought it would be better, and it seems like the same ol'thing. Not knowing, not hearing, and now add not being able to even write! My supply of duct tape has run out and I keep thinking.....6 years of this? 'B' will come home and I'll have aged 20 years!!! No one in the family has a clue of how hard this is, that's why I'm a N4Ms addict! I've gone and jointed some more groups. Did you know there's a group with patriotic pictures? The dishes are calling, but I'm not listening......

I'm sure that SWCC has the security as well. (I'm not taking any chances...) I don't know about the other 2, diver and NOC.

I don't hear any "nays" so Cara you're our official "Glitter Morale Officer"

Cara, I nominate you for Glitter Morale Officer! Do I hear a second?

Gee ladies, here we are "in the same boat" again. LOL! Sounds like I'm not hte only one with a sailor on hold. I'm sorry you are in here with me, but I'm happy not to be alone. I haven't heard anything from 'B' since he left a message Tuesday. It sounded like he was going to call again soon, but it's already Friday.

Honestly, I don't know how I'm going to make it for 6 years if it's always going to be like this. My anxiety level is THROUGH THE ROOF! from not knowing what's going on. I thought that after BC it would get easier.....IT'S NOT! Sorry, just having a small meltdown.

Kim, that cracks me up because it sounds so much like something I would do! I found a dollar store pack of phone charger adpaters that had one to fit my phone. I should have bought a half dozen because I'm always looking for one.

Also, somewhere on the pre-bud site a mom gave a way to get free boxes and shipping from the Post Office for military families.. I'll try to find it again, but it was a while ago. Maybe one of the pre-bud mom's saw it too?

Hi Kim, how are you? I can relate to that. Afterall, we have more people (and activities) in our lives than our sailor. GASP!! We've spent 2 months at least totally absorbed in him/her and now those others want/need our attention. I admit that it's hard to make the adjustment back to "real life" but it has to be done. There may even come a day when I forget to check in to N4Ms! (I'm not quite there yet LOL) Also, I PM'd you.

Hi Ellen, I miss being a part of what your guys are doing! Still waiting to find out what 'B' is going to do........????

Hi Kim, I felt kind of silly after adding that comment, but silly is not necessarily a bad thing, right? LOL Oh, and it was SO GREAT to get to talk with you at Flanangans. I didn't get to meet everyone who was there, but now I have a few faces to put with names. In a way I'm sad that 'B' isn't going on with the others to pre-buds, but he's doing what he believes will give him the best chance of success and service in the Navy, and that's what's important. I want to keep up with the news from your guys too. My BEST to 'A' (I'll check in with Marissa and Love & Light for the skinny)

Good Morning everyone, this is my first chance to post since Saturday night. We didn't get home until late Tuesday. 'B' is on hold right now at GL and not happy about it. Hopefully he'll find out more today and let me know. One thing I wanted to share was that someone's guy in Div 841 went around to everyone at night and said "good night." 'B' said that it was really great, especially when he was sick, and that was a lot! He said that before he went to sleep he thought "whoever it was" will be coming to say good night, and he really started to depend on it. If your sailor was that guy, THANK YOU for his encouragement to the others during those important weeks. I just wanted to mention this because 'B' didn't say much about anyone in particular, but this was something he did share. TTYL, Tee

Hi everyone, just checking in to see who is checking in! So wonderful to meet so many of you at flanagans. Wasn't today the most awesome day ever? Got to get to bed so I'll be on time to pick up my boy in the morning...Maybe we will run into each other around town! Have a wonderful day tomorrow! Tee
