Hi Diedra! Thanks for starting the group! How long has your other Sailor been in?
As well as getting support for yourself, I am sure that you will be a great asset to your group as this is your second go round!
I will post the link over on Boot Camp Moms.
I am a fairly "new veteran" mom. Sailor PIR'd 05/26/2011. He is in "A" school now.
I usually post several informative posts in the Discussion Forum-easier to keep track of for me! I will get on it as soon as I can. Also here to lend support and answer any questions that I can!
diannep, LaLa have been around longer and know a lot more. Also, Sandy, Betsy and a few others!
You are the creator of the group and are the only one who can make changes. If you like you may add an administrator (it IS helpful-one example is that the 7/22 group creator is MIA. So we aren't able to add a countdown clock or personalize the group in any way) you may select someone from the members-veterans included. That way someone can help you out with adding things like pictures a countdown clock, GL weather etc. BUT you don't have too. They can also be removed as an administrator on down the line.
When we get the information from RTC on all the DIV for your TG you can add that to your group name at the top. You can also change the picture for your group. The net has lots of great Navy Pics.
Welcome to N4M's!
Just got my form letter today, my SR is in Ship 07 Div 269 :) looking forward to the experiences and adventures coming our way... I am so proud of him. Time is flying by, but not fast enough! Come on 8/26!
Hello!! This is my second go around as a Navy Mom. I just got my letter stating that my son's PIR date would be 8/26/11. He is a Nuke in Ship 07 Div 270. I'm so excited for him, but can't wait till graduation.
