Hello! I'm going to pop in here from PIR 8-13 on our mission to help inform upcoming PIR groups of our experience. We recommend that you make alternate plans for your PIR group M&G--now, before it's too late. The Ramada is in a seedy location. The so-called appetizers are awful. The room is dark and disgusting. The situation is confusing and the bar is inappropriate for families, children, elderly, etc. Inappropriate for anything but a hooker party. It's almost impossible to meet other moms from N4M under the circumstances there--the bar is filled with strangers who are staying at the Ramada, and they even tried repeatedly to steal our N4M pins and lanyards etc. Please read in the PIR 8-13 group for more input on our experiences at this location. The Ramada will hold a M&G at their hotel whether you go or not, but so could the 7-11 or the K-Mart, there is no reason to hold your PIR group M&G there just because the Ramada claims they are having a M&G, and in fact it is an awful choice. The Ramada M&G is NOT N4M-sponsored. Alternate possibilities are Anastasia's or Flanagans. Anastasia's will reserve a room for you and it's in a nice location. Save yourselves! (It's NOT too late. We almost changed our M&G at the last minute and were still able to get a room at Anastasia's, but we didn't have enough information to make a final decision and we kept the M&G at the Ramada. BOY WERE WE SORRY. Our mission now is to provide other groups with the information we didn't have.)
