Did you play the waves I sent you last week Joann???  I can send more if you need them.  We have to keep you going until you can get out of that desert.  By the way has the temperature dropped for those of you out West?  That quit talking about the 100 degree days here so I am hoping that means you have cooled off a little.

Welcome Katrina!  My daughter-in Law is on here too accept my son is stationed at NAS Oceana in Va. So she gets to see him almost every night.  Except last week when he had an overnight flight that broke down in Nevada and he didn't get home for an extra 36 hours.  She was a basket case!!

By the way my kids are coming home this weekend.  For at least a couple of hours!!  DIL just became an Aunt so they are going to stop here for 2 days and then go on up to her parent's for two days.  Lots of travel not much time spent anywhere!! Oh well they are young.

Best part is meeting teh Grandpuppy!!!!

Hubby and I went out to a fund raiser last night.  They had all kinds of musicians from the Pittsburgh area singing.  Donnie Iris, Joe Greschky (sp), B.E. Taylor, and others I am not remembering now.  It was great fun!! Drinking and dancing while our kids are at home (in their homes) watching TV.  I love empty nesting!!!

Welcome, Katrina!  It's funny....I read your comment on my cell phone, and hadn't seen Janna's comment yet.  I thought, "hmmm....this girl sounds lost?"  "Maybe she thinks we are the PIR group from 2011?? lol   Clearly not the case.

Btw, congratulations on your engagement!  Your future MIL is one of our favorite ladies on here, too!

Yep, got my ideas for christmas.  Shop the kids closets, rewrap what I gave them last year that they just shoved in their, and then head to the nearest mall for some mommy TLC.

Funky nails...........men don't get that.  They "dig" at theirs.  I swear some of them need power tools to deal with theirs.
