Thanks for the pic and the joke. I needed that! But....
I got a letter!!!
Zac's Mom-bad news- my Matt is not the one your son was talking about! Seems there is another Matt who is RCPO(anyone know what that means?). He did give me a bunch of dates for 285-
Fire fighting 16-18th
Inspections on 18th
PFA Final on the 19th
Test 3 on the 20th
Captains Cup on 21st
Drill Assessment on the 23rd
BATTLESTATION 21 on 23-24th (got your candle ready??)
He also said that about 1/2 of 285 is going to P'cola Could they be going on a charter flight????

That is about all in my letter. Just that he misses us and is sending his Grammy's letter home so I can translate it for him!! My Mom's handwriting has been terrible for years. When I was in college (last year) we would have group readings to figure out what she had written. Yes I was in college before e-mail!!

Charlies mom - Coaching:
A must read for parents.
(Those who aren't will love it, too.)
At one point during a game, the coach called one of his 9-year-old
baseball players aside and asked, “Do you understand what cooperation
is? What a team is?”
The little boy nodded in the affirmative.
“Do you understand that what matters is whether we win or lose together
as a team?”
The little boy nodded 'yes'.
“So,” the coach continued, “I'm sure you know, when an out is called, you
shouldn't argue, curse, attack the umpire. Do you understand all that?”
The little boy nodded 'yes' again.
He continued, “And when I take you out of the game so another boy gets
a chance to play, it's not good sportsmanship to call your coach a dumb
ass' is it?”
The little boy shook his head 'NO'.
GOOD', said the coach.
“Now go over there and explain all that to your mother.”
