Liberty is different than Leave.  Leave is similiar to requesting time off for vacation at work, they must submit a chit and have it approved.  Liberty basically means that they have "liberty" to…Continue

hope all is well with everybody! i know its been a while since i posted but ive been working a ton since my hubby isnt here to help pay our bills! i finally got 2 letters from him explaining what was going on with his job reclassification issue. he was offered cook, clerk, machinist mate, and striker (do 8 diff jobs and pick the best one). he was like that is it? lol so the guy told him to come back on monday (aug 2) and he would have more to offer. he also said that i was right, he needs to stay in and finish. lol i was truely scared and thought he was coming home, from his letters it sounded that way. but my new letters, he sounds so much better and more confident. he said he didnt realize how smart he was until he started applying himself, his div is coming together, and his div is going to shoot for hall of fame. whatever that is? im so happy to read all of your posts, even though my hubby is in div 286, its still nice to hear what is going on around him. those who have recruits in div 286, have you heard anything new?

My daughter will be carrying the Louisiana State Flag at the upcoming PIR. She was on the dance team in high school, so I believe that is why she made into 941. Coming from a military family she also knows how to march :-)

Gorgeous Rainbow!! Thanks for posting! Can't wait to see video of Div.941 playing their instruments. Even though my kid is in div.285, I feel div.941 are sort of mine kids now too! lol

Is ALL of Div.941 performing in PIR on 8/13/10? From the YouTube graduation videos it seems like just a handful of band members playing instruments. Exactly how many are in Div.941 anyway? Are they all pretty much musical people?
