For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Good Morning Everyone! I am feeling a little frustrated today. Everything that could go wrong yesterday did!! Why me?? Anyway ---But today is another day-and to make matters worse, i woke up this morning around 3:45am and couldnt go back to sleep! My son was on my mind so much-missing him, worried for him and wondering when I'm gonna get that next call. And to be honest, I have no idea why I am worrying. Probably the mom's blues I guess. Sorry everyone-just had to get it off my chest with someone who understands my fears and tears! (Hopefully) :)

Thats what I thought. Because I told the lady the car belongs to my husbands grandmother. They first said it was expired but when they saw the paper I had it was still good. Everybody is telling me if i drive it I will get a ticket. I said "Oh my gosh". I just need to get the GL so I can talk about this with my Hubby. I can't sleep worrying about that.

No Kristina you are not wrong. If you are temporarily borrowing a car I think for up to 3 months, then you do not have to register it in your state.

I looked up information and was asking people. They said you can't change a plate if you are just borrowing someone else's vehicle. I am just going to call the DMV just to make sure. Thanks. I live in Arizona. I am just wanna get to Tx to get a rental car to drive to GL
