This is a Poem that I wrote when I was in Germany to the Solders that were fighting in the gulf. We sent them candles and goodies.

My soldier,
Please watch over my soldier,
and give him the heat of this candle,
to warm his heart, so he does not get cold.
Give him the love of my eyes,
and the lasting flame of this candle, so his strength
will never grow week.
Give him the light of this flame,
to lighten his nights, so he has no fears,
and doesn't get lost.
Give him the comfort from the glow,
let him know, we think of him often
and he is never alone.
Let me be the wax that holds him strong,
when he needs me to keep his flame alive,
and bring him eternity.
For only together can we,
the wax and the wick
of the candle of our hearts,
make the flames burn forever,
With all our love the Wojo's

I have never heard of the blue candle, but I love it!! But let me make sure i understand this right-I light it while my son is doing BS for good luck and as a way to remember military that are not at home with thier families on holidays? Can someone help me out on this- don't want to pass this on to family and friends and give them the wrong info. Thanks in advance!!
