Liberty is different than Leave.  Leave is similiar to requesting time off for vacation at work, they must submit a chit and have it approved.  Liberty basically means that they have "liberty" to…Continue

Took my youngest son back to school shopping yesterday (school starts on the 9th) and we had a great day. No fights over clothes AND we went lunch and say the movie Inception. Great day. I know he is trying to keep me occupied and I love him even more for that. He wants to go his brothers PIR, so, will see what we can come up with. Funny, these are 2 boys who for the past year before Casey left, fought every single day. Now, love each other.

I do have to do something with Caseys room. He did clean it out and packed it up before he left ( I wanted him to have control over what was kept and was wasn't, also, so his brother coudln't go in there and claim dibs on everything) and his younger brother wants to switch rooms. Makes sense, the room is larger, and I just need to do it. HIs bed is still unmade, with his book sitting on top, just like he left it at 5am that morning when his recruitor showed up. Maybe next weekend. His brother is being very patient and hasnt mentioned it to me, but has asked once of his dad.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! We finally got rain, and had a microburst (winds about 60 MPH and an inch of rain in about 30 minutes) over the hotel where I work. Tree in the spa (from the business next door, grrrrrr they should know better and trim their trees!) roof of van damaged, and 4 leaks in the hotels roof. Gonna enjoy today, looks like Monday is going to be a bear.

No, Jophers...it is right on target. Get your calendar out and count the 26 days but be sure to add the HOURS in too. This is set for 9 a.m. on the 27th and I just used my calendar to check...it's on the mark!

I will volunteer to make the phone call for the M & G. Not a problem. Please if anyone new joins our group could whomever greets them first, direct them to RSVP so we can keep everyone in the loop. Thanks
diannep-Thanks for the kind words. We actually ran away from home for the past two nights. Thursday we went bar hopping, two bars, one beer at each! We must be getting old. Last night(Friday) we went to our boat and stayed over night there. We haven't been able to do that for several years because Gracie could no longer hop into the boat. At was very restful, though me house is still rocking. I have added a couple of pictures from the Monongahela River where our boat is. Both our kids grew up on the river, so hmmm..and now my son is going into the Navy!! lol

You don't have to stay at the Ramada to attend the MeetNGreet.

On the ribbons....this is voluntary, but many pick a color for each division and make ribbons to wear to identify others in the division. Look on PIR 8/6 and 8/13 sites...I think I posted their ribbon colors at the top of one of them????? There are ladies on their making the ribbons for their divisions.
