Liberty is different than Leave.  Leave is similiar to requesting time off for vacation at work, they must submit a chit and have it approved.  Liberty basically means that they have "liberty" to…Continue

Hello again everyone. Finally back after internet problems and avoiding my house. My furry friend went to doggy heaven on Wednesday. I finally decided that it bothered me so much because now I am truly an empty nester. When Matt left at least I still had Gracie to worry about, someone who needed me! OH well guess I will just have to take care of my hubby now!! After almost 30 years I don't know if he still needs me or not!! He has been great these past few days. Not ready to trade him in yet!! Thanks for all your supportive comments. Helps alot.
Couple of things-- how do people not on N4M's find out about the M & G?
How many could show up that we don't know about?
How big do these things get?
Am I suppose to call to tell the Ramada we are coming?? And how many??
Is there anything else I/we need to do/know about this event???
Thanks to all the experienced mom's for thier help with all my questions.

TXNavyMomWifeCPO- did the charge anything off your card?
Comment by KristinaR(Divison 285) on July 31, 2010 at 1:59pm
Really Because I dont want to get there and they see I am using my husbands credit card but he isn't present I dont want to get denied.

KristinaR-that's okay...that's what everyone is here for...each other. Yes, you can hold a room with a credit card--it will not be charged in advanced-they only use it to hold the room for you(but please be aware that even though the hotel doesn't charge in advance, they may put a credit hold on that amount--doesn't mean that you have a balance just means that your credit limit is temporarily decreased by that amount). You can even just pay cash when you arrive and the card will not be charged at all. We are staying at the Navy Lodge.

ooh really. I was reading on the Navy Lodge that if prior to check in if your credit card was denied your room is canceled but what happens if you wanted to pay cash?

Sorry for bothering everyone with my questions... Just a worried bug and never had to hold a room before.;o(

Where is everyone staying at? Can I use my husband's credit card to hold a room?

Unfortunately no place seems safe today. One just has to have situational awareness and be conscious of the surroundings.

Thanks everybody. I will
call for a room today.

Kristina they will not charge your room to the credit card until you check in. I know the hotel we are staying at told us we could cancel on the we are to checkin if we needed to. We held the room with our credit card but we can pay cash if we want. My suggestion would be to call the hotel directly the number is usually listed on the website. They will be able to help you better. Lol we will all help you through this.
