OMG I don't know about the rest of you, but this forum has become my lifeline. I have it open all day at work and check it several times at night. Talk about being blubbery! All your news is so welcome to hear.

There is a DVD video (10 hrs worth) that you can purchase on Amazon.com. It's called "CARRIER" 1 ship. 5,000 Stories. It is kind of a documentary of life on board the Aircraft Carrier ship USS Nimitz. They interview the sailors from the beginning and we see how they train, work, eat & sleep and exercise and even play to blow off steam. I think this N4M's group is the perfect group to see this DVD. My son saw it several times before he left for BC. They show the upside of living on ship and the downside too. It was made and shown on PBS. Totally worth it. When I ordered mine on amazon, I got it within 3 days.

How is everyone doing today. Still on cloud nine from the phone call. Like most of you I as well let go of my phone just a little. Actually charging it completely in a different spot in the home. I told him he must call me for the Battle station phone call because our anniversary is the same week. He said of course. That helped me sleep at night better. So is everyone ready to see their loved ones. Only a couple of more weeks and we are there. YAAAAAYYYY. Can't wait to to hear " hear this hear this LIBBBBEERRRTYYYY CALLL" I know my kids are going to run lol.

not all of 285 are grad and go. They are all in different position. Some are there for engineering and aviation and corpsmen. a great group is leaving but some are leaving to TX and other places. And many are staying right there in GL
