Lauren...I totally understand you and hubby being upset with his plans.  It is scary to think that he doesn't know what he's signing up for here.  We can only guide our kids nowadays with suggestions & sound advice.  Unfortunately, some of them seem hell bent on learning things the hard way.  (with mine leading the pack!)

Wow!  Chris is a talented artist. I'm sure you don't want to encourage the marriage thingy just yet...(they're still too young!)...but that drawing could certainly be the front cover print up of their wedding invitations!

Praying for you, Trish.  My husband's on the 3 year plan.  Every 3 years he has to get 'scoped'.  They always find polyps in him and clip those suckers right out.

Yay, JoAnne!!!  You must be ecstatic!  Your boy will be home on labor day! How is your BFF, Liz?  Did she ever make it out to Arizona?  How's her boy (Joey) doing?

Happy 2 year PIR anniversary, gang.  Unbelievable how much we've gone through and more amazingly, how we've all still stayed connected through this site.  A true testament to our friendship through this journey.  Love you all!

Cathy, I'm sorry about the pee pee issue. Just be glad he feels close enough to confide in you. I did warm Casey before this deployment he is to come home with what he left with , and that means no girls, babies or funky junk.

I'm sitting here doing my prep, decide to read the post and excuse my French, about p***ed myself regarding the penis post. I'm sorry Cathy, not funny but funny. Our boys, they definitely keep us hopping!

This prep SUCKS!! I've had bad plumbing as long as I can remember, get the strictures in the throat, polyps, etc. how in gods name anyone can drink two liters of this crap is beyond me. Love ya ladies!

Happy Anniversary to us!  Thinking back on the past 2 years, hard to believe how much they've grown.  We have weddings, grandbabies, baby drama, baby mama drama, sh*** ships, deployments, etc, etc.   Casey leaves, today, on his deployment for at least 8 months.  He was home, left last Friday, and overall, it was a good visit.  He's not thrilled about leaving again so soon, but it is what it is and I see the maturity coming out in him, that this is the task at hand, make it the best you can.

I bawled 2 years ago watching him at PIR and I'm bawling again today, after his last phone call home for awhile.   Ugh, at least I cry less.  :-)

Have to have a colonoscopy tomorrow, with an upper GI.  Had had stomach issues forever.  This will be my 3rd one, they find polyps everytime, hene the need to keep doing these.   THe procedure itself doesn't bother me at all, its the prep that I had and with being sick to my stomach, today should be interesting.
