Liberty is different than Leave.  Leave is similiar to requesting time off for vacation at work, they must submit a chit and have it approved.  Liberty basically means that they have "liberty" to…Continue

Thank diannep for the encouragement :-) Just interesting though...she is in div 941 and at least the guys were able to call. There is some cat fighting going on among some of the girls of the division according to my daughter(she's not one of them thankfully) and that sentiment was echoed by one of the other moms in the division that got a call. I suspect all the gals were doing IT :+o

Last names are forbidden on N4M. So we wouldn't know each other by those names anyway.
I like the real first name on the second side.
Comment by trisha on July 24, 2010 at 3:26pm
Sorry, that would be one for me

I like the division name on the one side of the ribbon and for the other, side....... at a blank. Last name woudl be cool, but its forbidden??? My husband said the same thing, IF there is extra, he would want one.

TxNavyMomWife: I hope you hear from her soon. I doubt it's the card since she could buy one in the NEX. Sounds to me like she just has some tough RDC's that aren't big on the phone calls. But I bet she will call maybe even this weekend????

Ok folks, we have about 50 people who have RSVP'd to the M & G. How many want ribbons? My 25 yr old daughter said no thanks. How about husbands, and other attending? What name do you want to put on the ribbon??? We can have division on one side and what on the other? Recruit name? Mom's name? Last name(the forbidden information)??? Screen name would work but some are kind of long..Any other ideas? Need to know soon so we can order the anchor pins and coordinate the making of said ribbons! Thanks for your opinions.

Div 941 mom's I am so glad that ya'll heard from your guys. I unfortunately did not hear from Eryn :-( Don't know why, although I am hoping it is not because we gave her a different type of calling card than ATT. ATT calling cards have always been reliable, but we used a service called Penny Talk, which worked well for us overseas. You never know.

Jopers, that is so cool that the connection has been made in regards to your son knowing my daughter. Yes, in her letters she said that there were some little gals that did not know how to keep their mouth shut!!!! She and her bunkmate just stay out of it. She is a smart girl and knows all those goings on are just best to stay out of. Well gotto prep for work. Everyone stay cool--it is only going to be 98 degrees today :-)

rynot: We stayed at Residence. It was great! Very nice setup, shuttle to PIR (reserve when you check in if you are taking it...I would suggest the 6:30 one), and a free hot breakfast in the lobby each morning. If anyone is thinking of this hotel, book now. It tends to fill up fast because they offer 1- and 2-bedroom suites with full kitchens.
