It is still early today....I read somewhere that the calls can come mid to late afternoon. I am not sure how accurate that is but there is still a lot of hope for news today via Ma Bell!! Lets stay hopeful!

This waiting is so hard. I keep telling myself no calls until next weekend, but my heart is saying please phone ring please... My husband was in the Navy, so I'm not worried I know they will take care of them. I just want to hear his voice. and calling his cell phone only helps so much.

That's pretty funny about the letter being addressed to himself. Well, funny now, that you know the reason. It just goes to show you how exhausted all these recruits are. But it does and will improve. Each day we are one day closer! Whew.....I can not wait for them to get through this.

Tina, Chris' 2nd letter was more positive than the first. Morale was definately low in the first. Day by day, things WILL IMPROVE for these guys/gals. Lets all keep the faith and keep them going strong!

I am hoping that we all get calls TODAY!!!! 45 minutes - I can't believe it.....that is so great....I will have to keep it together so I don't CRY the whole time and waste the call.

I need to work harder at being patient. That was never a strong point for me. This site has been a god send. I'd really go nuts without it.

Bryters-
Letter #2 sounded marginally better than #1 - they were written one day apart. I'm getting lots of practice at "Marilyn-ing" (thinking positively)!

Tina, Does he sound better?
