Well, Austin's box came today. I met the FedEx lady in the street, just so I could get it 10 seconds sooner. Also, got the form letter with the few lines at the bottom. He was so excited before he left, but I'm afraid reality has presented itself, repeatedly, and in a loud voice. Nothing to do but endure, just like those of us left behind. We'll all get through this!

Yes, my son Samuel is Ship 14 Div 200. I got my letter Saturday as well. I didn't even read the form letter until Sunday afternoon, I just wanted to see what Sam had written!! It was sad because he doesn't think we will come to graduation because of the holiday--he is so wrong!!! Mail him letters today!!

Hey Y'all- Anybody else with a kid in SHIP 14 DIV 200? Love to hear from you! I am feeling better than I expected, so I feel so bad for you all that are having a blue day. Just know that we are here for you, and we understand. You are entitled to feel blue until you don't anymore. It will ease, but not at the exact same rate as other people.

He said it was just one of the calls he gets. He sounded kinda like he was losing his voice. I asked him if he was ok and he said yes and i said seriously then he said no but didn't say why. He said he has like a ton of letters waiting to be mailed out to me so I can't wait. Ya the smile has not gone away. I asked him if he still loved me and he said oh ya I love u to death!!!!!!!!!! =)

I was having a rough day and then he called me. OMG I still can't breathe. He sounded different and it was like a 30 second convo but I'm so happy. He said when I got the "I'm here call" that he could not have another call for 3 weeks. He left on 3/30. So it was very unexpected. I looked up GL area code (847) already so when I seen it I started freaking out. On cloud 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my son, Sam box the other day, thought it would be hard to open, but when I did I had to laugh, cause it reminded me of him!! Stuff just thrown in..I'm sure all that will change! (let's pray).
I also got my letter and we sadden my the fact that my son thinks I wouldn't come to graduation, because we already had plans for that weekend--wide horse couldn't keep me away!! I'll be there!!!!

That explains it!! I too was pretty confused at the date and thought perhaps Jake just wrote it down worng. We were thinking all along it was going to be a week after that. Seems like alredy time is going to go by fast and we will see him sooner than we thought. I didn't think about it being the holiday weekend so this works about great but your all right we may need to book our roomsearly. Lucky for us we will be driving from home and not having to have to fly. Good luck to you all in your travel arrangements.....

Karrisa- go on to a web site like travelocity or cheap fares. I'm sure there are plenty of moms out there who can give us very good advice about this. Where will you be coming from?
