~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option.
~It is also a good idea to change your visibility settings for your Profile Page (MY PAGE) to "Just my friends".

Way to go 194 and 933 on winning the Captain's Cup!!
Just a few more days! Can't wait to see my baby girl!
Ship 12 Div 194
I never thought about checking his bank acct.
My daughter is in DIV 195. They did BS 21 last Thursday and I never got the "I'm a Sailor" Call :( In a email she had told me she was struggling with the push-ups and was doing the PFA last Tuesday. I am assuming she did not pass the PFA I am hoping they let her do it again this last Friday and she passed. This morning I looked at her checking account and saw two charges pending for $25 and $209. I am thinking that they are for her Division t-shirt and graduation pictures. I don't think she would be purchasing these unless she did pass BS 21. This is all speculation on my part but I think they may of had a BS 21 last night and this morning when they were done she made those purchases. Otherwise she could of passed BS 21 last Thursday night and somehow we didn't get a call. Very Stressful. I think they would of let her call if she didn't pass the PFA to let us know she was being moved to FIT. I am really hoping for a call today!!!
thanks. I am in good company!
@Navymomx2, no news is good news! I know that doesn't help put your mind at ease, but when he calls after BS 21, ask him. I'm sure they got him qualified. Your son is in the brother DIV to my son's DIV (200). They will complete BS 21 together. We should get calls around the same time.
you and me both! I don't go anywhere without my cell phone.
@Stephanie, mine is Div 199 as well. He was struggling with the run and was supposed to take the final one last Friday. Haven't heard anything and don't know if it's a good or bad thing?? I NEED a call!
Thoughts and prayers for 7 sailors who lost their lives and condolences to their families. Heartbreaking for all, and we wish you peace.
Praying for the 7 sailors who lost their lives serving our Country. May they rest in peace. Condolences and prayers to their families as well. Just heartbreaking. May they find peace.
