~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option.

~It is also a good idea to change your visibility settings for your Profile Page (MY PAGE) to "Just my friends".

DianneP:  Thanks so much for the info - think we have decided to fly back in the early evening on Saturday so we can see him most of the day if he is available and not have to pay for another night in the hotel!!

Exactly one month from today we will be reunited with our SRs (:

Sethsmom:  No, he would not.  It is possible that the RDCs told him that sometimes the Pensacola sailors fly out on Sundays but it is not a definite until final orders come in.  If I were you, plan on the extra day as far as your own PIR trip....you can always sightsee if he leaves on Sat.  That is what we did.

Diannep:  He is scheduled for A school in Pennsicola, FL.  He told his girlfriend he had both days...would he know that already?

Hi SailorMoon and kimberlya. We have a SR daughter in Division 194, Ship 12. They seem to be receiving and sending mail ok. We have received letters from her the past two Thursdays. First letter was post marked 5/8 and arrived 5/11. Second letter was post marked 5/15 and arrived 5/18. We were also fortunate enough to receive a call from her 5/14. She sounded great. She told us she is tired mentally and physically but doing well. She communicated the Division is working well together and the females are helping each other out as best they can. The females have evening study groups they have organized and have made flash cards to help each other out for upcoming tests and inspections.
