We get in around the same time Carol. Are you staying at the Navy Lodge too?

Instead of driving downtown, consider taking the train. The station is across the street from the base. From Union Station you can take a cab or the free trolley might be running when you're there. The Sears Tower is free to anyone in uniform with military ID. That's an easy walk.

Ruth, they need to contact the RTC and see what they have to do to get the parking pass. Tell them not to panic, I'm sure it can all be worked out.

I joined this group for a Navy mom without a computer at the moment. Her son is supposed to graduate on the 26th. She and her husband are in a panic as they've not received the packet with tickets, and the recruiter seems not to be able to answer questions. Has everyone in the group gotten tickets? He's in Div 361, ship 05.

Well ladies, since I had so many questions, I actually sent my son a questionnaire. He sent it back this week all filled out. It sounded like he enjoyed filling it out too. I asked really silly questions, like what their blankets are like and other questions about their schedules and food. It was nice because it was 3 pages with questions and space for his answers...he said it was fun. My son doesn't volunteer much information so I had to ask specific questions. Did they really take pictures already??? I can't wait!

We have flown into Midway before and it was fairly easy. We happened to stay in Gurnee that trip and traffic wasn't bad, however we came in at night, 8 pm. Southwest has been the cheapest for us, however I haven't tried a package deal from Orbitz. Thats a good idea, I'll try that today. thanks

Carol it could just be that your packet is in the mail. I receive letters on Wed. and my sister that lives 3 miles from me gets her letters on Thurs. I'm sure its on its way.
