My son Marcus is also on Ship 09 Div 292 with PIR date 8/09/13. Welcome and glad to have found another parent with the same ship, division.

You have both joined the group, PIR 08/09/2013 TG 39 - 13 Divisions (287-298, and 939), but in case others find this post they should also join you there to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.  Know that Divisions 291 and 292 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.  There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.

Josh C's mom, My son is also in Ship 9 Div 292.  We live near each other, I think.  I'm in Loveland.

My son, Michael, is on Ship 09 Div 292.  Looking forward to hearing his voice again soon :)

My son Hayden is also on Ship 09 Div 292, PIR date 08/09/13. Good to find other mothers with the same ship an division as my son! Hope you all are doing well as expected! It was really hard for me at first, but after I got his call last Saturday, that helped me a lot! Love reading everyones posts! Take care!

I've read a couple different posts about Ship 09 Div 291/292 moving ships?

Anyone know why this would be happening? Will our SR  address change?

Also if we order challenge coins I guess we need to change that?

Hi there, where did you read those posts?  Still trying to figure out how all this works.

ProudMomKim, Other loved ones  have mentioned it on fB. See https://www.facebook.com/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand.

Yes, if the ship changes the address will change, but letters will be forwaded since the mail room and the RMPO will know of the change. You can go to http://bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp and/or Ship/Division--How it Works to get the address, but your recruit should give it to you and te date to begin using it. Go by what your recruit indicates about changing ships.

Yes, you might want to change your order once the change is confirmed.
