For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I would like to encourage people attending PIR to use Sarge's services! Thankfully, I added his phone number on my cell phone before I left home. He guided my way to the airport and I was able to catch my flight home after being lost along the way! Generously helped me through a scary time, not used to that kind of driving.

Just attended PIR last week. Sarge is AMAZING!!!! He is totally devote to the SR's and their families. Anything you need...He got us to and from the airport, PIR and even took my SR back to base after her evening with us at the hotel. He is available day or night. just call or text him. Sarge and his drivers are VERY knowledgeable of PIR, their town and surrounding areas. Wanna sight see? They know it all! He even told my SR that she could call him from A school if she had any questions. What a wonderful man!!! Thank you!!! He made the trip sooo smooth. Use Sarge!!! His prices are very reasonable.

I haven't met Sarge yet but I can tell you that he is very nice. He took the the time to be on the phone with me while on the computer looking for a cheap, nice and well located hotel. I had no idea what hotel to stay at since we don't know the area and where I had made reservations was not a good location for us, safety issues. He went through every hotel listed on the website and told me which was good as per location and price. I think this says alot of a person, taking the time to help a perfect stranger and look for a safe, cheap and close location to stay in.

Go to your PIR group and look under all of the informational discussion tabs to find one regarding Sarge and everything he does for Navy families. I think there may also be a discussion board listed above somewhere that talks about him (other than this one). Press "View All" at the bottom of the main page of this discussion board and look down the list. He runs a taxi service at heavily discounted prices among other things. He also holds one of the Meet & Greets. From everything I read, his Meet & Greet is the most informative one.

We used Sarge instead of renting a car..because we knew that our Sailor was leaving the next day..This man is wonderful..He took my family from the airport to where we were staying..He was like a tour guide talked to us on what we should expect..and the cost was cheap..all four of us and he charged about 58.00 for all of us. Not only that he offered to pick us up from the hotel to take us to the Meet and Greet at Sarge's and that was amazing also. It was so neat to see mom's that I had chatted with all during BC..and then took us back to the hotel..all round trip was free! We had him to pick us up to go to PIR ( he know the back roads) we did have to wait in traffic..we used his service the in entire time ( he has 6 or 7 guy that work with him) and the little side trips was about 12.00 for all ofus..You cant beat!! Just call him and he will give you all the answers..847-212-0246 . The man is the greatest!!

Hi all, I am new in this page. it is very interesting to know that Sarge is one of the best person to talk to while in Great Lakes. My daugthers PIR was August 24 Ship9 Div265 I will have to call Sarge for some help then Thank you all for the post, this really helps me.:-) - China
