Sharon, Christian is doing A school at Great Lakes. Still waiting on the class to fill but should begin next week (hoping) He's really bored right now.
I'm going to send box of civi clothes by weekend, hope the box is big enough for "it fits it ships". Told Christian his clothes may not fit him anymore, he may have to visit Wal Mart and clearence racks! LOL No matter what, they still need their mother!!! Yes, job security! Love to all

greetings all; i must admit i've gotten kind of lazy on N4M so much build up for the big day and it consummed much of my time and now its prety much all done.
i appreciate all the friendships i have made and fun converstations that helped the time fly. its funny how some of us knew each other better than our kids did:) Barbara i am sorry for the loss of your mom and to everyone else who have experienced a loss during this time. i am happy MR Fig is now employed and also happy for everyone else who have had positive news in their lives.
my son arrived in goose creek 09/30/09 around 6pm, he said he and a couple others who left from great lakes missed a connecting flight (in Atlanta) so they arrived later than the others. he starts A school 10/14 and is looking forward to it. i am slowly sending things out to him as he asks for them. he said their "dorms" are nice and the food is great (#1 galley in the usn) he will be in goose creek until 02/10 so i am trying to plan to fly out around christmas to visit him.

I just adopted a gal from Div 949 PIR 10/30. Hope I can help her and others out, said that if I didn't know the answer I'd ask y'all for help since we're "pros" now. Christian called today, got moved to other side of road in GL for A school. Can't believe our PIR weekend has come and gone, too quick! Luv to all! Rita's for all! Cheers
