FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

hoping to be on the road tomorrow by 12:30 and rolling into great lakes by 6pm, want to find our way around while its still light, i have the feeling since theres been only 1 letter and no calls i will be the mom who doesnt even get i'm a sailor call, although i dont think our div 335 got to make many calls. i wish everyone safe trips and the moms not able to make it know that your kids will be taken care of by the rest. we are staying at the la quinta but plan to go to flanigans, i will be the mom with the Naval theme purse (finished it last night). debbie-andrews mom-335 we'll have to meet up at la quinta.

Didn't sleep well last night at all. Kept thinking about the kids going through BS. Haven't heard anything as of yet, but they've only completed an hour and a half ago. Leaving tonight, will be in GL tomorrow around noonish! Look forward to the mng to meet y'all. If anyone hears anything about 945 and the other division that went through BS last night make a post! Hope everyone gets wonderful calls today and tomorrow before travel! God bless our kids, God bless ALL Navy families, God keep those safe who will be traveling today and tomorrow! WOO HOO GO NAVY!!

Div 945 is going through Battle stations within 45 minutes. Rachelle or Vicki, do you have that wonderful prayer you've been posting on this page? I've been trying to find it by pages but there's too many. GO 945!! And all divisions for BS tonight. You're in our prayers now and always! Christian, Matt, DJ, make us moms prouder of you then what we already are!! Love you! Cindy & Nancy, see you in a few short hours, can't wait til Thursday!!! Can't wait to meet all these wonderful families! God bless our kids, God bless ALL Navy families!

i'm making a patch purse (naval theme) but not sure if i can fit shoes and binoculars in it:)...plus now i have to have beverages uh i mean nourisihment in it too!

regarding tattoos my son was told he could not get any in between his dep signing and until after bootcamp, also they took pictures of the ones he had and other body areas i think to make sure he didnt show up with new ones
