OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Keep hearing "Be Still and know that I AM GOD". So hard for me but I'm learning. "Wait on the LORD". Psalm 37:34

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."  James 1:16

"If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him graciously give us all things?......For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:31, 38

"Who is like the Lord our God - strong to save, faithful in love! My debt is paid and the victory won - the Lord is my salvation!" words from a song by Keith Getty

Prayers for recruits, sailors, families and friends this day.

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.  1 Timothy 4:8

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.

1 Timothy 6:6–8

Father, God, I want to be spiritually healthy and fit for service. I want to grow stronger and become more like Jesus as I experience your abundant life.  I know all good gifts come from you. I’m overwhelmed by the many ways you bless me. Help me to notice my blessings and take nothing for granted. Through Christ your Son, Amen
