Eternal God
We bless the gift of marriage you have given to the world. Sometimes the world seems to close in on that precious gift.
We ask that you raise up Allen's marriage and bless it beyond anyone's common earth beliefs. Please enter his wife's heart that she may see the blessing this is and how much can give back to you.
We ask that you watch over all our military families, their spouses and children.
Amen

Hi
Cheryl
My husband and I were in a Marriage enrichment group when we first got married and that has help alot.
I know it is hard with deployments but have them check out the WMMR office to see about Marriage enrichment groups on the bases or the area churches around the bases. Check with the Chapel offices on the bases too.
Hope this helps.
there is alot about marriage that we did not know or others did not know until we went to some of theses Marriage enrichment groups.

Dear Lord, why is it that we always try to handle our problems/troubles on our own and it isn't until we come to the end of ourselves before we decide that we need to come to You? This is a very heartbreaking situation for me to have one of my children going through the troubles that Allen is facing right now. I know that You are in control and watching over him, but it is so troubling to me that Jessica can be doing what she is doing to a man she 'claims' to love more than anyone she has ever been with. She also claims that Allen is the best thing to ever happen to her, yet she is trying to shut him out and delete him from her life like a high school childish breakup. This is so much more heartbreak than I can stand. Allen does love her and wants their marriage to work, but it seems like she isn't willing to try anymore. Jessica doesn't seem to understand the difficult situation she is putting Allen in. Please turn her heart back to her marriage vows and back to Allen. Please turn Allen's heart back to his marriage vows and to Jessica. They married so quickly and now that she is having my grandchild, it is so much more important that they work this out. In Your loving and most precious name Lord, hear my pleas!!!! Thank you for listening and doing Your will. In Jesus name, Amen.

Please everyone who reads this...the more praying the better!!! Allen is set to go overseas on May 4, 2010 and his marriage is in serious trouble. Please pray for them!!!! Thank you!!!!

Has anyone seen the new movie out called Letters to God?
If so, how was it?

Dear God--
Don't cha just love it when you are dragging in to work and get busted by the first person who sees you! Gee, Carol, you look exhausted. Yes, I am, after making an ancient school kitchen look good for 5 different companies to come bid on our food services.
God, How often do we tire you out and how do you rest up? I thank you for the gift of a good night's sleep. We praise you for all you do for us.
Amen

Holy Father, we praise You for your great love toward us. We read the words of your servant David in Psalm 34 and are strengthened. We ask a special measure of Your grace upon those who are brokenhearted and crushed in spirit because of changed ratings and other sorrows that cause them to cry out to You. We seek You Lord, and You answer us, You deliver us from all our fears. We look to You and are radiant. Our faces will never be ashamed. Send comfort to your children, a Christian roommate or a kind word from a Chaplain at chow. Show us Your glory Father and be near to those who call upon you now. In the mighty saving name of Jesus, our Savior, Amen.

Lord God, please give Luke and his group the comfort and encouragement that they need in Kandahar. It has become worse conditions that his previous deployment and they are having trouble with being able to see the positive. Surround them with Your hedge of protection and allow them to to do Your will and walk in Your way. Be with Ali and the girls while Luke is away. Thank you for protecting them when she had the tire blow-out on the highway going home from dropping Luke off at the base. Watch over Allen, Jessica & Audrina as they travel to Ohio and Virginia. Please give them the peace and comfort only You can give when and while Allen is overseas in Diego Garcia. In Your loving and precious name Jesus, Amen.

Praise god for the beautiful ride in to work today. The sun was just peeking up, the sky was a gorgeous color, and we have had the most wonderful weather these past few days. I appreciate the pick me up it offers! amen.
