On this "All Saints Day" let us remember those who have gone on before us. Those who helped mold us. Those who helped lead us. Those who held the mirror before our face and formed us to be who we are.

Dearest God
Today you received our friend, Lynwood, into your heavenly arms. Please surround his wife Kathleen, with your continuous love and support. Guide us as we minister to the family.
Amen

Dear Lord, I pray for Your loving guidance and protection over Allen's girlfriend traveling to VA from PA today. Be with her and her daughter to arrive safely. Be with Allen while he waits for them to arrive. Thank you, I pray in your name Jesus. Amen.

Please Father God, lead me to the right place for a job. I know that You have Your plans for me and that Your timing is not mine, but You know that I am need of financial relief. Thank you for allowing me to come to You with this request. In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord, tonight I bring two requests to you.
Please surround the medical team of Mark F, a church member. He was seriously injured when a tow truck carrying a semi ran into his pickup. Please give him strength through the multiple surgeries he will be facing. Surround his wife Chris and their daughter Michelle with your caring concern and never ending love.

And also surround our dear friend, Lynwood, who was placed with hospice today. Be with his wife, Kathy, as they remember how they met as spouse survivors of those who died of cancer. They are truly believers. Let them know how much we care. And please let the hospital hospice allow visitors in this time of flu scares.

Be with our church members at Troy United Methodist Church as we minister to all our sick and lonely.
Amen

Dear Father God, be with all the families and friends of those troops who have been killed in AFG and be with all the families and friends of those troops how are over there serving at this time. Please keep them all safe and bring them home safe. I know that Your will be done even when we don't understand what or why. Please also be with my son, Allen and his decision to marry the girl he has just met and known for 2 mths. I pray that You will work in his life and in their relationship that this is a true love and that they both will love and honor You and each other. Keep Allen & Luke safe in both of their jobs in the military. Thank you Father for allowing us all to come to You in our time of need. We pray in Your loving & precious name Jesus. Amen

Please pray for the families of the 14 troops who were killed yesterday in the two helicopter accidents in the desert. Such a large loss for our country.
