I have been trying to figure out how to upload a song video to our prayer wall, but can't figure it out.  So I will just tell you lovely ladies here about the wonderful song.  It is Stronger by Mandisa.  You can go to Youtube.com and get it.  The best video of it is where the lyrics are displayed along with the music.  It is such a great song and has such meaning.  It has been such an inspiration to me.

Practically everyone has known the taste of Palm Sunday, the sweetness of success and popularity,

And nearly all of us have tasted the bitterness of Good Friday, of failure and rejection.

What saves us from an endless round of ups and downs,

What frees us from the tyranny of events over which we have no control

Is our commitment to press forward in obedience to God -

It is trust in God's love to bring about Easter morning, -

Knowing that the meaning of life is to be found in the knowledge and love of God,-

And in sharing that knowledge and love with those who accompany us on the way.

Dear God

Thank you for the wonderful "Beautiful U" conference for young women and their moms today.  What a privelege to be included in this group, to listen to guest speakers and to raise our voices in praise of your name.  We ask that these young women carry the message of your Lord, Jesus Christ, back to school and to their friends.  Amen

Oh, I forgot to put where this scripture is found: Jeremiah 31:19,20
Comment by NavyMomx3 on April 16, 2011 at 1:53pm

This morning as I was doing my reading, I came across this verse which witnessed to me tremendously.  In placeof Efrayim's name, I put my name and/or my sailor's name:

"Isn't Efrayim (Betty/Walter/whomever) my very dear son/daughter, a child who delights me so? I speak about him/her all the time, I can't help but recall him/her to mind.  In sum, I deeply yearn for him/her.  I will surely show him favor" says Adonai.

I wept when I read this this AM.  Because my Navy son had some very negative experiences at a Christian school and at a local church, and with his biological father,  he is very turned off on christianity right now.  But God......But I remember that son of mine who would lul himself to sleep by making up his own words and tunes and singing praise songs to his Heavenly Father.

God so yearns to have a relationship with each one of us.

Angela, that happens to me too.  My husband calls them special reminders to go to prayer from God!  9:11 is a big one for me and I always pray for my NYPD son immediately.  Something similar is when a person just pops into my head "out of the blue", I stop and pray for them & occasionally the Lord lets me know why they needed prayer, but sometimes the person never says a word.  That is when I know that there was a very special need just at that time.

God is so great and marvelous beyond all our understanding!  His ways are so much higher than our ways and His thoughts above our thoughts.

Have a good day sisters and if you live in the area of severe weather today my prayers are with, for and over you.  As the old farmers in New England used to say, "Keep a weather eye to the sky and a prayer on your lips!"     Amen.

First, thank you all so much for all your prayers on behalf of my g'daughter, Samantha.  The culture came back negative this AM and they are in the process of being discharged and going home.  All praise to the Lord for His continued mercies on us, His children.  Final diagnosis - "fever of unknown origin."  Your prayers healed her little body and also helped me in many ways.  The biggest being a beginning of some communication with my estranged sister.  We are going to try to get together in the next week.  That is as huge an answer to my prayers as is the answer for Samantha.  This is the sister who hasn't spoken a word to me since the day I took our Mom to the hospital on Nov. 8th and didn't call her first.  Thank you, Jesus, for the softening of hearts.  And thank you all my sisters in Christ Jesus for standing with me through all this.  I love you all so much and can't wait til we can meet in person someday, here on earth or in heaven with our Lord.

Yes we do have to stick together!!  I loved the story too Blondie.  Really helped me today.

Semi-good news re:  Samantha.  Initial blood work is negative (which is good).  Lumbar puncture is being cultured and won't be back until tomorrow at the earliest.  Fever broke about 2AM this morning.  PTL!!!  Baby is sleeping an unusual amount of time, but is nursing.  Samantha & g'parents are doing better.  Parents are 2nd guessing themselves.  Afraid they over-reacted as 1st timers.  Trying to reassure them both as a Mom and a nurse.  Can't take risks with newborns (under 1 mo. old).  Please continue to pray that nothing serious grows.  Doctor is looking for meningitis.
