Proud Navy/NYPD Mom, my heart is so heavy for you. I am praying for you and your family. God can work miracles. Even if it isn't what you expect, He will work it out. I hope you can feel the love and hugs we all have for you. You are a strong woman and you wil get through this all.
Father God I come to You and ask that You comfort and strengthen my friend NYPD Mom as she is hurting and more troubled over the negative situation between and her and her family. Please let her know and feel the love and care from You and all of us here. We all know that You are able to work miracles and that Your will be done. Speak to her family through her and allow the pain and disagreements to be forgiven and allow them to move past this. Thank you Father for being the greatest comforter that she neds. In Your loving and precious name, Amen.
Thank you all for praying for me this week-end. It was worse than I thought it could/would be! My 2 sisters and niece kept taking off without a word and left me to work with my brothers or whatever. Then my brothers started in on me for keeping a "disagreement" going with my sister. They say it is my fault - I'm the oldest so I should take care of it and end it. They just don't get it that Carol does not have any intention of it ending. I feel like a truck is sitting on my heart and the tears are flowing freely now that I am back home and alone. I don't want to go back again even tho there is lots more work to do. I feel like I have no family left at all.
Oh God, please heal all of our hearts within the family. I can't fix things with Carol when she doesn't want it. Only you can. Won't You please fix things before we have to work together again? In Jesus' name, Amen.
Thank you God for such a wonderful church service today. It felt so comforting and I feel so blessed to have been a part of it. Also, Father thank you so much for such a BEAUTIFUL 80 degree sunshiney day here in Michigan! We have been in so much need of it for so long. As always, asking for Your loving care, protection and guidance for all of our loved ones, our military all over the world and for each of us here. Thank you for allowing us to come to You and for always being here for us. In Jesus name, Amen.
Father in Heaven, we bring our sailors in Japan to You this morning. Please protect them as they continue their work in this battered country. Keep them safe from any and all harm. Be with our sailors on their ships. Lord, please let them all receive restocking of their supplies today. Provide them with enough food to keep them healthy as they go about their work.
We pray too for the 101st in Afghanistan. Please protect them Father. They are in such a terribly dangerous place. Watch over them. Please be with Bobby R. as he returns to GA to attend his friend's funeral. Strengthen him we pray. Give strength and courage to the rest of the 101st who are still there. Give them Your peace as it is their comrades in arms that have died.
Watch over all our military today. Please keep everyone safe and let no one die this day. Lord we will pray and think one day at a time. Please honor us for being faithful to this day and leaving tomorrow to You.
Bless all these Moms today, I pray. In Christ's name I pray, Amen.
Praise the Lord! Our prayers for the military to be paid were answered in a mighty way. Last minute, but it was His timing. Thank You Lord for helping us to stand faithfully in prayer regarding this request. How majestic is Your Name oh Lord.
Today is the day my friends. I'm mentally ready to go to my parents and face my sister, but my emotions are all over the place. I've got verses you all have given me and our song playing in my head. Just keep praying God puts His arms around me in protection and His hand over my mouth so that only His words come out of my mouth. I absolutely do not want to say something I will regret later or something that makes matters even worse. Thank you Moms. I will spend my time there praying for your requests to keep my mind on others and the Lord. I love you all ~ thanks for supporting me like you have all week.
I'll talk to you later this afternoon or tonight.
Thank you Lord that Washington DC has approved a budget and our children and their families will not suffer.Amen
Praise the Lord for answered prayers. Glad to have Angela back with us. So sorry to hear that your mom isn't doing well. I will be praying for her, you, your daughter & your marriage situation.

THE BRICK
A young and successful
executive was traveling down a neighborhood street,
going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was
watching for kids darting out from between parked
cars and slowed down when he thought he saw
something.
As his car passed, no children appeared.
Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door!
He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to
the spot where the brick had been thrown.
The angry
driver then jumped out of the
car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up
against a parked car shouting,
'What was that all about and who are you? Just what
the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that
brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money.. Why
did you do it?' The young boy was apologetic.
'Please, mister....please, I'm sorry but I didn't
know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the
brick because no one else would stop...' With tears
dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth
pointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's my
brother, 'he said 'He rolled off the curb and fell
out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him
up.'
Now sobbing, the boy
asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help
me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and
he's too heavy for me.'
Moved beyond words,
the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling
lump in his throat.. He hurriedly lifted the
handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took
out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh
scrapes and cuts.. A quick look told him everything
was going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God bless
you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too
shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy!
push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk
toward their home..
It was a long, slow
walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very
noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair
the dented side door. He kept the dent there to
remind him of this message: 'Don't go through life
so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to
get your attention!' God whispers in our souls and
speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have
time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's
our choice to listen or
not.
Thought for the
Day:
If God had a
refrigerator, your picture would be on
it.
If He had a wallet,
your photo would be in
it.
He sends you flowers
every spring.
He sends you a sunrise
every morning Face it, friend - He is crazy about
you!
God didn't promise
days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun
without rain, but He did promise strength for the
day, comfort for the tears, and light for the
way.
Read this line very
slowly and let it sink
in...
If God brings you to
it, He will bring you through
it.
