Continue to pray for our military and their pay.  They should not be worrying about how their mortgage, groceries, family needs are going to be paid.

My husband and I have a private loan on our property, we have been worried that the lender would require us to pay it off now. I just got a letter from the primary lender and they are offering to extend our loan for another 2 years. I'm so excited, praise God! I had just saved enough money to pay the property taxes today then went by the post office and received the letter. God is great!

Judi, praying for your daughter, may God watch over her, keep her safe and have her back in the US soon.
Angela, I'm so glad your mom has no pain, praying for good news from the oncologist. That must have been such a shock to hear that as a possibility of the cause her weight loss problem. What a blessing to be there for her and know that you are where God wants you to be. It's comforting to your mom to have you there as well. Praying for your marriage and your 13 year old daughter. Keep singing. Glad you heard from your sailor, such a blessing especially after such a hard day. God brings us what we need when we need it!
I have to admit Blondie, I can't see the pictures on my screen.....government blocks them....but I praise God I can still read and post! I don't know the hymn, but I'm singing it in my heart to my own tune. I don't think God will mind too much! God bless you all

Blondie - I got so frustrated by the news that I just called both the Sen. from MA & told them to stop this foolishness, to full fund the military.  And they should be ashamed of themselves because they are disgraceful to accept a paycheck when not doing their job (i.e. coming up with a budget) and yet deny one to the military who ARE doing their job.  Told them too, if they can't do the job, be prepared to be replaced by some women who know how to live on and with a budget.  Their aides were like Ah...ah...  OK, your message has been recorded and will be passed on.  Made me feel so much better.  Just talked to a Navy Mom - she wants to go and foreclose on the White House.  Make them move out!  Made me smile.  But, this is so very serious and really does need our prayers.

Angela ~ glad you are back.  I am sorry about your sad news.  Let me know how I can help.

(And from the same song):  "I can see a light in the tunnel for the heart that holds on.  A glorious light beyond all compare.  I can see an end to this suffering...    (I will find the rest of the words, must be in the CD case in my car.)

I agree with you 100% Blondie!  Will pray that those in government make their point some other way than withholding military pay. I just don't understand how the Congress can use the military in this way. These military men and women are in harm's way every day and now the Congress adds this stress to an already stressful situation.  IT IS SHAMEFUL!!

Thank you all for your prayers!  I am so blessed!  My son Allen posted new pictures of my youngest granddaughter on his facebook page.  She is his only biological daughter, Maddox.  Maddox is almost 7 mths old already.  She is so beautiful and getting so big.  Praise God for the pictures.  I know it will lift Allen's spirits to have them and they are lifting mine too.

Sheila--so glad to hear that you are going to be able to work from home now.  God grant you the strength to take care of your mother and work.  Praise God that your daughter is coming in from Tampa to stay with you too.  Praying for safe travels.

Blondie--I can hear you singing all the way here in Michigan!  LOL!  Sounds beautiful to my ears and I know God is feeling the same.

Carol--thank you so much for praying for me and my family.  I pray for you too.

Oh Lord oh Lord how majestic is Your name in all the earth!

Took all of you with me in my heart to the prayer vigil today at church.  Each of you are named in my book of prayers.  Each of you are uplifted in God's arms.  Blessings always.
