I'm crying too, for all that I find when I come here.  God is so good to us.  This has turned into a true place of worship - Scripture, singing & praying.  What a place of comfort.  I want you to know your prayers are already calming my heart and mind. I'm preparing myself with the Word and prayer. I don't know how this week-end will go, but I'm going to go in as a warrior - with the full armor of God.

If you didn't see hisbelovedLinda's video, I would encourage you to watch it.  It truly shows what these soldiers are going thru.  It is a miracle that the casualties are as low as they are, but even 1 is too many!

So now at 9A when we pray for our sailors in Japan maybe we can add the 101st & their "no slack battalion" and Bobby R. in particular??  We are still gathering as a group to pray aren't we?

Don't pray when you feel like it. Have an appointment with the Lord and keep it. A man is powerful on his knees.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/101st-airborne-..   My Prayer Request below referenced the link above!   My friend Tina is asking prayer for her son: Bobby Ray. He is in the thick of it all with the 101st Battalion: They call themselves "The No Slack Battalion"  Tina SAW her son in this video: " a soldier yells: Ray, get over here" ...Bobby comes running right in front of the camera and takes aim! ...She was so elated to SEE that he was ok..she saw him in several other scenes also! The News Reporter mentioned "Miracles were happening"...the video showed two guys showing how bullits were stopped that hit them!  Please keep up the Holy Prayers!  I am a MOM,  praying Psalm 91 over Bobby and his No Slack Battalion & ALL our Military in harm's way!  God Bless Them Everyone!  I always Pray in Jesus Name!!!  luv ya, Hisbelovedlinda

You are so right Proud Navy/NYPD Mom, the evil ones doesn't want to stick around for that at all. I haven't been on much for quite some time, for some reason, I was lead here today, glad I headed the call. God bless you all, I'll be standing in that choir right along side the rest of you, singing on key, finally!

Thank you Sisters.  I put on my worship music CD and had my own church-time all day while scrubbing the kitchen and bath.  I feel more quiet in my soul and the peace can only have come from our Heavenly Father.  Thank you for praying for me and worshipping with me today.  They really go together don't they - praying and praising!  The evil one certainly doesn't want to stick around for that.

PS  I think there will be a Navy Mom choir in heaven and it will be made up of all of us here - the beautiful singers and those of us who will become beautiful singers.  Can't wait for that glorious day.

Amen! What a beautiful prayer, praying with you for Sheila and her family.
Comment by Proud Navy/NYPD Mom (Donna) on April 5, 2011 at 7:10pm

Oh Sheila, I'm so sorry.  I guess I misunderstood, I thought she was receiving breathing txs already.  When did the WBC go up?  And now more antibiotics!  She is really having a rough time with all of this.  Glad you have a little time to get things ready and Praise God you will be able to work from home.

Dear Father, we know You are the almighty healer and we ask for you to intervene in Sheila's mom's health.  Obviously this is a set-back by all standards, but Your ways are not our ways and Your thoughts are not our thoughts.  We are thankful for that.  As 2 nurses, please keep both Sheila and me from jumping ahead.  Lord, sometimes I think we know too much when family members are suffering.  It makes it hard to rest and wait for You because we are so used to acting.  Please Father, help Sheila get the rest that she needs.  Keep her from becoming ill.  We know she has a graduation to attend in just 3-1/2 weeks and in some ways it seems impossible that this trip will work out as planned.  But we know that all things are under Your control and in Your timing.  3-1/2 weeks is more time than You need to  unravel the health concerns and make this trip to graduation possible.  We all just gather in prayer around Sheila and her mom and, yes, her son too as he is expecting them there.  Please allow this to happen, we pray.  In Christ's name, Amen.

Shelia, will be praying for your mom, may God strengthen her body so she may fight the infection. Praying the antibiotics will work well and praying for God to touch your heart and give you the strength you need to get what need to get done finished. God bless you!

One of my absolute favorites......

What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms?
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
