Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

an army base where 12 babies have died at base housing.

so heart braking for new moms and dads.

ProudNavyMom-So sorry to hear about your son...you are both in my prayers. ((((HUGS))) I have been where you are ....my daughter was medically discharged during week 4 of Boot camp,( so she hadn't made it as far as your son) but it is hard, keep encourgaging him and give him a hug from another "navy Mom"...please stay in touch....once a Navy Mom always a Navy Mom! It was hard for me as well to be on this site, as I had been so looking forward to her PIR and meeting those whose had become "friends" but God had something else in mind for her path and mine as well.

I know now that part of my purpose is to lift all of these needs of these wonderful military families up to our loving Father in Heaven and it has been a blessing.

My son is in NY and he is in NUKE schooling. He has been gone for just about 2 years. He is my third son to be in the Navy. His older brothers are both out of the Navy, married and have children.

It is so touching and reminds all of us just how blessed we all are. Also, reminds us that we still need to continue praying for the people of Japan, but also our servicemembers there doing their expected duties. I pray that God is keeping you comforted and strong also, knowing your child is there working so hard.

Father God we come to You again to give our service members strength, comfort and guidance as they do their duty in Japan and also very all of our military all over the world. Thank you for loving, caring and protecting us all and for all the gifts You give us each and every day. In Jesus name, Amen.

All that is within you cries out to Him. And He hears all the pleas that your suffering soul and body are making to Him with groanings which cannot be uttered.
