What a beautiful way to start off the morning earlier.  Out to get the paper, trees are budding, crocuses are bloomed, and birds and squirrels filling the air with their sounds.  In a couple of hours, I will be heading out to St. Louis to meet some of my Navy Moms.  God is good!

Carol--thank you so much!  I told Allen that we are all here praying for him.  Encouraging him the best a Momma can.

Thank you all so very much for the information on transfers to Japan.  I will be going to the website you included NYPD Mom.  Allen emailed me back today and basically said the same thing, but realize that this is necessary due to the devastation and destruction there.  I also am concerned for Allen on another matter.  I was informed too that his wife (who is in Ohio) allowed a friend of hers to drive Allen's pickup truck (which he had to leave with her while overseas) and the person wrecked his truck.  He and Jessica aren't on good terms now because of their marital troubles, but this has put even more stress and strain on the relationship.  Allen had told Jessica NOT to let anyone else drive his truck while she had possession of it and she did it anyway.  Allen still owes quite a lot on his truck and this is the only possession that he has of any value.  That is besides his beautiful baby girl, Maddox.  He is not a material person, but this has really upset him a great deal.

I pray for you NYPD Mom in regards to the concerns you are having about your grandbaby.  God is in control and please remember He is with you and your grandbaby.

Again, thank you to you all for your loving care, concern and prayers.  God bless you all and all of our military & families.

I'm happy for you Angela that you heard from your son.  And, tesla, thank you for your beautiful prayer.

You all have helped relieve my anxiety - for my overdue grandbaby.  I'm having a very hard battle with the evil one over this, he keeps bringing up all the deaths in the family and my mind hears his evil whispers.  I'm claiming God's love and control over my heart and mind and doing the best that I am able to do to not think something is wrong or will go wrong by claiming God's promises.  It is just so very difficult for me at this time.  Please pray for me - I just wish I could talk to my Mom and Dad about this, I miss them so badly.

WASHINGTON (NNS) -- The Navy released NAVADMIN 084/11 March 17 announcing that the movement of personnel to tenant commands and activities in Japan should be stopped effective immediately.

Due to the damage following the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, it has been determined by the Secretary of the Navy that the movement of personnel to tenant commands and activities in Japan should be stopped effective immediately.

The temporary hold shall remain in effect until further guidance from Navy Personnel Command.

These prudent measures will assist humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts by reducing the demand for food, water, fuel, and electricity.

Thank you Lord for those who give their service so that we might live free.  Wrap your hedge of protection around them today and every day, in Jesus' name I pray!

Just found out this morning that my son Allen isn't going to be tranferring to Japan in June as expected.  There is a hold on his transfer and he is having a difficult time with it.  I know God has His reasons and where Allen is suppose to be stationed is on the Southwest side of Japan, not near the earthquake, tsunami or radiation area.  Haven't heard from him yet directly, I found this out through his dad (my ex-husband) and not sure why he isn't transferring.  He really wants to get off the little island he is on, but he is safe there.  Praying for all in Japan also

Glad to hear Angela that you were able to hear from your son.  Praise God!

Praying for those who are sick and suffering.

"Thus says the Lord,' From the rising of the sun and from the west, there is no one besides me.'   " Is 45:1,6

Lord we meet you around the world, from Japan and the land of the rising sun to the west including USA and Europe, and we ask for your power and presence.

There is no one besides you who calls the stars out by name and who causes the green grass to grow. Be with our children, our spouses and all who travel this globe protecting people for good. Protect them and make yourself known more clearly to them as they bring good to all they meet.

Give them rest tonight and sweet dreams so that they can rise refreshed for another day of change and same. Give those on watch eyes and ears to be alert for the sake of us all. Give families safety at home or travel and give us peace we pray.

For you alone are God, we bless you and give thanks in your Name.

Amen
