I just love you all, my praying sisters!  May you feel God's presence in your life today.

Dear Father, I pray this morning for a MA Navy Mom who wrote me about her son in Behrain. Lord she is so anxious and afraid. I don't think she knows you personally so I ask that the words and verses that I just emailed to her will touch her heart.  I ask that Your Holy Spirit will open her eyes to your love and power.

Lord, this world is being warned of coming judgment for its sins and the sins of the world's peoples.  Father, please help all of us here to be women who speak the truth in love to those around us.  Everyone is afraid - afraid of more earthquakes here in the US, afraid of radiation, afraid of the way our government is operating, afraid for their children, and the list just goes on and on.

Oh Father, it seems like we are living in Matthew 24!  We know Your patience is not limitless.  Please be with us all.  Strengthen our faith in You that we won't be counted among those who will fall away from the faith.  Help us to stand firm in Your strength and power.

Be with our children wherever they are.  Lord keep them safe from the unrest in the middle east; protect them from all that is happening in Japan; please put Your hedge around them and keep them safe.

Thank you, Lord for being in control of all these things.  I pray in Your Son, Jesus's holy name, Amen

PS Carol, yes it is the same Sherwin!!!  Haven't heard from him in several weeks now, how about you?  Do you know where he is?

I volunteer at the humane society and help people choose a dog that would be a good fit for their family.  I also foster puppies and kittens until they are big enough to be put up for adoption.

The last fosters that I had were 3 little rat terrier mix puppies (of a littler of 7) that were 8 weeks old when they went back to the humane society.  I found out a few days after they were returned that several of the litter were positive for Parvo.  I just today found out that 5 of the 7 ended up positive (all 3 of the ones that I had) and were euthanized.

With all the things happening in the world right now, I would like everyone to say a special prayer for all the animals also.

Linda-thanks for the video...a friend of mine has the book and has been lending it out to our Bible Study group...now I really want to read it.

Hey everyone, you all probably know about this already, but I just bought a Sailor's Bible to give to my husband at his graduation from RTC.  I'm waiting for it in the mail, but it looks really neat, leather bound, and small enough to fit in a large pocket I think.  I bought mine on Amazon for about 16 dollars.  I heard of a mom buying one for her son for grad, and thought it sounded like an amazing idea!!

NYPD--Are we both talking the same Sherwin, with last initial of B?  If so, I am so glad.  He seems so appreciative of our letters.
