Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Blondie, LOL, I didn't mean that I didn't know what state Cincinnatti was in, but that I don't know what areas the flooding of the river would affect.

Angela, my DH is working in Cincinnatti right now and he said that the river is expected to crest and flood the lower parts of the city and downstream.  I don't know the state, so can't tell you what that means.  He said he's in a high area of the city.

Praying Allen was filled with clarity of mind.

Next prayer--that there be an opening for an E5 and that he won't have to wait for his advancement.

Praying for my son Allen today he is taking his E5 exam. Lord please give Allen the wisdom & knowledge while taking his E5 exam today. Also, give him calm and peace while taking it also. I pray Lord that he will pass it this time. Your will be done. Thank Father, Amen.

I finally heard from my son today and our prayers were heard and he is still in the Nuke program.  He was put in the Mil Div (where the Nukes go when they haven't followed the rules and spend their time cleaning) for 45 days, but then he can return to the next Nuke class at the point he was at.

Navyfam thank you for posting that video i needed it. Hi Angela i will contunue to pray for you my husband and i have been at that point of dispare in our marriage even to the point of divorce that was 2 years ago at the point that i was ready and preparing to leave God got ahold of me and began to speak to me thru the word (I started the one year bible thru my church) everytime a scripture came to my heart i wrote it down on index cards and i would speak the scripture out at the end of the day before i knew it i had 7 diffrent scripture books full of index cards 1 on marriage 1on me persanaly 1on safety for my family 1on on the finaces for my household 1 on healing and miricals 1 on bedtime confessions and the most importent on of all INTAMCY WITH GOD this is one were i tell God just how much He means to me I started my day with this one well its been almost 3 years later and my marriage changed my husband changed but most of all i changed and i got the inner healing i needed desperatly and most of all i sow God deal with is Son (my husband) when i couldnt and all our needs got met thru Gods Love we I saw God answer what was realy needed in and for my marriage and in me. and i will pray that God meets your every need love kelly
