Praise The Lord for my son's Ship 12 Div. 95!!!!  They completed their Battlestations 21 for Boot Camp this morning!  We give all the Glory to Our Father in Heaven In Jesus Name!  We are all so proud of their accomplishments!  They all passed and with really good marks my son says!  We are so excited now for their PIR on 3/11/11 .....can hardley wait!  Pray that they will get some "Good Rest" now!

Additional comment from comment below!  The "New American Standard" translation of the Bible was translated directly from the Hebrew & Greek Original writtings....see my comment below for the first part of this: >>>

REPLY TO KatK....The word "booty" according to Strong's Hebrew Word Concordance says:  it's "spoil"  like they said "spoils" of war...so it may make it  a clearer meaning for those not inclined to understand The Bible or that have not studied it more indepth. I love the Old King James also, booty is the King James Word, but it was translated from the Latin when it was first printed....I personally love to use The New American Standard version because it uses the Hebrew (Old Test.) & Greek (New Test.) Words that explain the original meanings from the original language. The only way to really get the correct version is to KNOW Hebrew & Greek!  Had it to do over again, I would be a Hebrew and or a Greek Scholar! They say it takes a lifetime to learn it all, but oh my what a blessing that would be to be able to read the original writtings and understand the text! Hope this helps .....

Thanking the Lord for answering my prayers!

Yes, I have heard of this. I know they are doing it for the Catholic version but not sure about any other version. Taking "booty" out and replacing it with "spoils of war" and then a couple of other words that I can't remember.
